AA tasks are as follows:- VA 1. Town of WEERT 5897, canal brs in area KELPEN 6694, canal brs in area NEDERWEERT 6100. VA 2. Town of HELMOND 52. VA 3. Town of DEURNE 6520. Tps in AA tasks as follows:- VA 1. 113 LAA Regt, Y GOR, 3 radars from 107 HAA Regt. VA 2. 90 HAA Regt (less one bty), two btys 123 LAA Regt, sub-GOR. VA 3. 123 LAA Regt (less two btys), one bty 90 HAA Regt, X GOR.
FIELD	1		100 AA Bde is under comd Second Army. 151 AAOR provides early warning of aircraft in their vicinity to Air OPs of 8 and 12 Corps. One radar set with upward comm to AAOR is on the air for this purpose whenever Air OPs are up during daylight. X GOR move to HELMOND. Weather – fine, occasional showers.
	2		Def of town of WEERT thickened up. 113 LAA Regt deploy 369 Bty (less tp) and 370 Bty (less tp) with radar subsection at WEERT. E/369/113 LAA Regt deployed at NEDERWEERT and H/370/113 LAA Regt at KEIPEN. Weather fine – with occasional showers.
	3		107 HAA Regt take part in 53(W) Div CB and CM programme, operation “Harbinger” Weather – fine.
	4		Weather – fine, rain early in day.
	5		Weather – fine, some rain later.
FIELD	6		Team from 107 HAA Regt send on course to S of AAA, MANORBIER, for trg in connection with re-equipment of Regt with SCR 584 and No 10 Predictor. Weather – heavy rain.
	7		All-day trg conference held at HQ 100 AA Bde. Main topics were re-equipment of HAA and LAA Regts, LAA in ground role, post-war requirements of AA, calibration experiments, barrages, gunnery trg and practice. Weather – occasional rain.
	8		Weather – rain by night.
	9		Weather – occasional rain.
	10		113 LAA Regt cease to be deployed in AA def of WEERT and move to harbour in EXEL. 112 LAA Regt (less one Bty) deploy in def of WEERT under comd 12 Corps. 100 AA Bde cease responsibility for def of WEERT. Y GOR harbour at EXEL.
FIELD	10		X GOR to provide Air OPs of 8 Corps with early warning of aircraft in vicinity. 107 HAA Regt in sp 3 AGRA in addition to RA 53(W) Div.
	11		113 LAA Regt begin trg programme involving trg of LAA plotters, in view of addition to Bty WE of radar sec. Plotting nos to be taken from personnel on existing WE. Weather – fine with occasional rain.
	12		Further team sent to 21 Army Gp Practice Camp for trg in SCR 584 and No 10 Predictor. Team consists of Bde IG, AIG and TIFC, TIFC 90 HAA Regt and TIFC 107 HAA Regt.
	13		112 LAA Regt came under op comd of 100 AA Bde. 100 AA Bde again responsible for def of WEERT.
	14		Weather – fine with occasional rain. Frost at night.
	15		Weather – occasional rain. Frost at night.
FIELD	16		107 HAA Regt ceases to be in sp 53 Div and comes in sp of 15(S) Div.
	17		Weather – fog, and colder.
	18		Y GOR deploy at WEERT under op control 112 LAA Regt. Commitments of 100 AA Bde now as follows:- 100 AA Bde under comd Second Army. 113 LAA Regt in conc area EXEL. 107 HAA Regt in sp 8 Corps in ground role. 123 LAA Regt, 90 HAA Regt, X and Y GOR of 151 AAOR in sp 8 Corps in AA role. 100 Radar Bty less A Tp and part of B Tp under comd 12 Corps, C Tp and part of B Tp under comd 8 Corps. Tasks as follows:- VA 22. Town of WEERT 5897. – 112 LAA Regt, Y GOR. VA 23A. Towns of HELMOND 52 and DEURNE 6520. – 90 HAA Regt, 123 LAA Regt (less one bty), X GOR. VA 23B. LAA def of DEURNE. – One bty 123 LAA Regt (tied in to HAA posn for barrage data). Weather – fine.
FIELD	19		Weather – fog and occasional rain.
	20		100 AA Bde in sp 8 Corps and responsible to 8 Corps for AA def of HELMOND, DEURNE, and WEERT.
	21		284/90 HAA Regt came under op comd 8 AGRA in ground shooting role area OVERLOON 7632. 107 HAA Regt came under comd 8 AGRA. 113 LAA Regt send recce parties to LOUVAIN area.
	22		113 LAA Regt come under comd 106 AA Bde (30 Corps) and move to HAECHT J 825685. Deploy in AA def of LOUVAIN.
FIELD	23		100 AA Bde undertake responsibility for ground def of WEERT. Comd 100 AA Bde appointed Garrison Comd and OC 63 A/Tk Regt i/c def details. RHQ 123 LAA Regt move to HELMOND.
	24		VA numbering amended as follows:- VA 22. WEERT. VA 23. HELMOND. VA 24. DEURNE.
	24	1700	Stage A of ground def of WEERT in operation.
	25		Slight air activity over area.
	27		Stage A of ground def of WEERT suspended until further notice. Telephones still to be manned continuously.
	30		3 (Br) Div area taken over by First Cdn Army. 100 AA Bde still in sp 8 Corps, and also for co-ordinating AA untis for First Cdn Army where necessary. VA 24 in First Cdn Army area but 100 AA Bde responsible for AA def.
FIELD	30		284/90 HAA Regt remains under op comd 8 AGRA, under comd 100 AA Bde. VA 23 controlled by 8 Corps. AA def co-ordinated by 100 AA Bde.
	31		Claims credited to 100 AA Bde for month of Dec as follows:- NINE Cat II – A/c damaged.
