LUNEBURG M.R. S779188 2   CSM Bradford posted as RSM 5 Div. RASC and left.
2 1800 46 Tpt. Coln. Football final between 96 Coy and 164 Coy RASC. (Inf. Bde.) played here at Luneburg. Result was a draw & it is to be replayed on Weds. next at 164 location.
5   Lt. Wood discharged from hospital and returned to this unit.
6   British personnel posted to 777 P.W. Tpt, Pl. are now to be reposted to this unit and replaced by O.R.’s of other army except for officers & Sergeant
8   IMT report from 4MTIB received. Generally satisfactory.
9   Major A.W. Holmes proceeded on leave to U.K. Command. of Coy taken over by Captain. T. Locke RASC.
10   Unit education scheme started.
13   Visit from Captain. Moissen ref. Tpt. For War Criminal Trial in LUNEBERG. 4 vehicles for Press, 4 for Provost, 4 for Officers. 1 for O.R.’s, 2 for civilian witnesses. ‘C’ Pl. performing detail.
16   Unit motorcycle trials organized & took place. Very good display of riding by all concerned.
17   Visit from Welfare Officer 214 Bde. to obtain use of ground in veh. Park for Monster Circus from 26 Sept. for 14 days.
18   Visit from CRASC 46 Tpt. Coln.
19   23 vehicles returned from a detail of 40 vehicles. – these 23 were not required. Full particulars of wasted mileage & pet. Consumed notified to 46 Tpt. Coln.
23   Further m/cycle trials with creditable performance all round.
24   Telephone message received that Captain. Locke will report to CRASC 46 Tpt. Coln. On Thursday for 3 week duty as Acting Adjutant.
28   Major A.W. Holmes RASC resumes comd. of Coy. Captain. T Locke RASC proceeds to 46 Coln. for duty for three weeks as Adjt.
29   Lt. C.L. Bell of 777 P.W. Pl. returned from intelligence officers’ course at BAOR Trg. Centre.
