PREETZ 1   Nothing to report other than normal duties being carried out in KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PREETZ and PLON.
2   Police duties were performed in KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PREETZ and PLON. As a result of investigations at NEUMUNSTER regarding the circulation of invalid passes the Garrison Commander expressed his appreciation at the manner in which the task had been tackled and that the man responsible for the issue of the passes would be duly dealt with.
3   Normal duties at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. No. 1 Section proceeded to COPENHAGEN to take up duties with No. 17 L. of C. HQ.
4   Normal duties at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. No. 7 Section took over duties at PREETZ. A report was received by No. 7 Section from a girl, Irma Herzberg of PREETZ, claiming that she had been raped by a British officer. The case was handed over to 81 [S.I.S.?] for their investigation.
5   Duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. Special duties were performed at KIEL, in connection with the football match between 8 Corps District and Derby County.
6   Normal duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. Information was received of a German civilian, who had broken jail whilst serving a sentence of 5 months imprisonment, alleged to be armed and living in a shed on some allotments at KIEL. A cordon was thrown round the shed. The man made an attempt to escape but after being fired upon was arrested and handed over to the civil police.
7   Normal duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. Special duties laid on at Church House, PREETZ, for the visit of the Corps Commander.
8   Normal duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. There was nothing unusual to report.
9   Normal duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. Speed traps were operated during the day in the areas of PREETZ and NEUMUNSTER.
10   Normal duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. At KIEL 6 German seamen were arrested for attempting to recover spirits from the “Admiral Scheer”.
11   Normal duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. Speed traps were again operated in the areas NEUMUNSTER and PREETZ. A German civilian was arrested at NEUMUNSTER in connection with a brutal assault on a Pole from the 25 D.P.A.C.
12   Normal duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. No incidents to report.
13   Normal duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. Speed traps were operated in areas of NEUMUNSTER and PREETZ.

18   Normal duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. Information was received that an S.S. Bde Commander, a Prof. Dieter, was living in PREETZ. The F.S. Section were notified for their investigation.
19   Normal duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. Sub section of No 2 Section proceeded to KOLDING, Denmark to undertake police duties at 8 Corps District Rest Camp,

21   Normal duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. Investigations were made into the circumstances whereby a Major Saffery, R.A.O.C., was found shot.
22   Normal duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. A large quantity of wireless equipment (German Marine) was recovered from a house in NEUMUNSTER and also business premises. Investigation being carried out.

24   Normal duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. A special check was made in the area of all German vehs.

27   Normal duties carried out at KIEL, NEUMUNSTER, PLON and PREETZ. Speed traps were intensified in the area of NEUMUNSTER in an endeavour to check the accident rate which was steadily rising in this locality.
