Funeral John Joseph Kennell
On 16 September 2015 John Joseph Kennell was buried at the Oosterbeek Airborne Cemetery. Many people attended the service despite the heavy rain.
John Kennell served with No.2 Parachute Platoon of 250 Light Composite Company RASC when he was killed in action during Operation Market Garden on 18 September 1944. In 2012 his body was found in an unmarked field grave at Ginkel Heath.
