German intelligence operation from June to September 1940 in which about twenty secret agents were sent to England by boat or parachute. Among them was the Dutchman Jan Willem ter Braak. The purpose was to collect information about the British coastal defenses, necessary for the planned invasion, Operation Seelöwe. The operation was a total failure.
