Jhr. Alfred Marinus Scatto Wichers, born February 24, 1923 in Djokjakarta (Java). Soldier at the K.N.I.L., telephone operator, was taken prisoner of war in Tjimati (West Java) on March 8, 1942 and deported to Thailand, where he died of beriberi on April 22, 1945 in Wanlung.
