Wilhelm Ferdinand graaf von Ranzow, born April 17, 1913 in Pamekasan (Madoera). Professional soldier, brigadier with the 3rd battalion Engineer troops (mechanic) in Tjimahi. Taken prisoner of war on 8 March 1942 and deported to Thailand where he died during a bombing raid on camp Nompladuk (Nong Pladuk) on 7 September 1944. Unmarried.
