Biography

Joseph Mohr married on April 28th, 1944 in Baarn with Alyda Johanna Maria Kietselaar (born 18-10-1918, date of death 08-07-2000 in Kerkrade). His profession was watchmaker, juweler and he worked in the church, Saint Martinuschurch in Spekholseheide, Krekrade, Limburg, the Netherlands. In the period 15-08-1933 until 21-07-1935 he was enlisted with the VLS (Voluntary Landstorm) in Maastricht. Among other units he was enrolled in the 13th Regiment Infantry and was promoted to corporal. As from 06-11-1939 he was mobilized with the Korps Motordienst (Corps Motor Service) which became the Depot Motordienst after mobilization.
