Biography

Flying Officer. No. 550 Squadron RAF.

Pulfrey was the first crew member to jump from a burning bomber that had been attacked by a night fighter after a mission. The next morning his lifeless body was found by a farmer. His parachute had a large tear and his head was entangled in the cords. However, the pilot was missing his flying boots.
