Leading Aircraftman Robert Lawson Richardson, Royal Canadian Air Force, was killed in a dive-bombing training exercise at Alliford Bay, Queen Charlotte Islands, British Columbia, along with Flying Officer Robert McGee Halpenny and Flight Lieutenant Allan Simpson.

Son of George P. Richardson and Eunice S. Richardson of Vancouver, British Columbia, he is commemorated on Page 17 of Canada's Second World War Book of Remembrance.
