Biography

RAFVR Leading Aircraftman David Alexander McAuley, Flying Officer Philip Duncan Corlett, and Leading Aircraftman Alfred Leder lost their lives in a mid-air collision between Harvard II aircraft AJ912 and AJ953 during a training flight near Conrich, Alberta.

They were part of No. 37 Service Flying Training School (SFTS), Calgary, Alberta. Alfred Leder was the son of David and Lola Leder of Willesden, Middlesex, England.
