Biography

Son of Cornelis Bernardus Koelink and Geertruida Johanna Dijkman, married to Antonia Clasina Bakker, machine fitter. Active in the Geuzen resistance. On 15 September 1941, he was arrested in Bussum together with his cousins J.P. and B.N. Koelink on the orders of the SD and deported via the prison in Amsterdam and Camp Amersfoort to Buchenwald. The “official” cause of death in Buchenwald was said to be high fever, but it is more likely that he died as a result of abuse.
