Johannis Wewer was called up after the Grafisch Lyceum (5-2 RI) and left for the Indies in 1947. In Batavia he worked alone and isolated in a printing company with secret information. His request for transfer was honored, and he joined 5 RS Ostcie on Java. In 1949 he was killed by a sniper near Bantul, while walking guard.
