Son of Hendrik Boer (1897) and Teuntje Adriaantje Gelderblom (1901), he lived in Sliedrecht and worked in bridge construction. In 1943, he was sent to Germany for forced labour via the Dordrecht Labour Office. He escaped or ran away and probably ended up in Neuengamme concentration camp, where he died on 19 August 1943.
