Antonius Papaleonidas was a member of the Cretan resistance during World War II. He was riginally from Asia Minor and worked as stevedore in Herakleion. Papaleonidas was part of the team that kidnapped the German General Kreipe. He was also part of the group that executed Kreipe's wounded driver.
