Alfred Henry Richie, son of Robert Ritchie and Ada Isabella Ritchie, Ponsonby, Auckland City, New Zealand. Sergeant (Air Gunner, Royal New Zealand Air Force, 75 Squadron R.A.F.

He was killed when his Vickers Wellington Ic, number T2474, was shot down during a mission to Mannheim and crashed near Thérouldeville. Ritchie was the only one who lost his life. The rest of the crew were captured.
