    Biography

    Skipper Lieutenant Alexander Watson, during peacetime a Skipper of a Trawler sailing out of Dundee, Scotland joined the Navy at the outbreak of war and served as an Acting Temporary Skipper Lieutenant in command of a LCT and was posted to the Middle East where he served notably at Tobruk and during the D Day landings.
