Biography
Feldwebel der Reserve Ludwig Schmid was KIA near Michailowka/Mykolaiv on the Ingul River eastwards of Passadowka/Peresadivka in the Ukraine while serving in the 2./ Jäger-Regiment 229 - 101. Jäger Division and was most probably awarded the DKiG and promoted to Oberfelwebel der Reserve posthumously.
