Herbert Findeisen promoted to Hauptmann on APril 1st 1942.
Was part of the 1 / Nahaufklärungsgruppe 4 from May 30th 1943 until July 15th 1943, of 2 / Nahaufklärungsgruppe 4 between August 2nd 1943 and February 18th 1944 and was Gruppen Kommandeur with II / Jagdgeschwader 54 from February 1945 until May 1945.
He achieved a total of 67 victory's, all on the Eastern Front, of which 30 between May 1943 and February 1944.
