Biography
Wolfgang Schenck was a veteran of light bombers, heavy bombers, dive bombers and jet fighter-bombers. He successfully completed over 400 missions in bombers and 40 missions in the Me 262 jet and as an Oberstleutnant was the Inspector of Jet Aircraft. During operations against England he succeeded in sinking 38,000 tons of shipping. He served with ZG-1, SG-2 and KG-515 (Me262) and achieved 18 aerial victories. He also destroyed 15 tanks on the Eastern front.
