"Radar Operator on board M.T.B. 90, in which he has taken part in 20 operations of war by the coast of France during 8 months. On the night of 19th to 20th May, 1944, in the course of an attack against 4 enemy ships, before the Island of Jersey, showed extraordinary calm and coolness. Despite very unfavourable atmospheric conditions, maintained the Radar service for an hour and a half, under particularly difficult conditions keeping contact with the enemy ships, and furnishing his C.O. up to the very moment of firing the torpedoes with most efficient information."
