Biography

Hector Robertson served as Navigator and the rank of Flying Officer with Nr. 9 Squadron. was the son of Alexander Robertson, Fireman and Market Gardener and Jane T Robertson of 82 Chapel Street and later of 44 Don Street, Aberdeen. He left school to take up an apprenticeship with Thomson Aikman, C.A. Aberdeen. He volunteered for the RAF. Hector was a keen cricketer and played for the Western club.
