Citation:
"For meritorious achievement while participating in an aerial flight over the Clark Field Area, Luzon, Philippine Islands, on 16 Januari 1945. Captain Pratt led a flight of 4 P-51 aircraft on a bombong and strafing strike against targets of opportunity in the Clark Field area. Under his direction his flight made a series of attacks on parked aircraft, a gasoline truck, and heavy anti-aircraft positions. He alone destroyed 3 enemy aircraft on the gorund and damaged 2 while the other members of his flight destoryed 8 others. The courage and devotion displayed by Captain Pratt during this flight reflect great credit on the United States Army Air Forces."
