Biography

Flight Sergeant, RAAF, bomb aimer RAF 7 Squadron. Son of Charles Henry and Eva May Robinson, from Stanmore, New South Wales, Australia.

Killed on 16 December 1943 during a mission to Berlin. After taking off from RAF Oakington, his Lancaster JA853 MG-L was attacked by a night fighter over Friesland and crashed near Follega, Friesland.

All seven crew members were killed. Two of them remained missing. Charles Robinson is buried at the General Cemetery in Lemmer. His gravestone bears the inscription: 'FOND MEMORIES LINGER ON'
