Flight Sergeant C.C. Newlove was the pilot of Wellington DF666 on a raid to Düsseldorf. The aircraft was shot down by the German night fighter Oblt Manfred Meurer, III. / NJGI. and crashed in Rozendaal. He lost his live in the crash and was buried in a private cemetery in Rozendaal.
