Arthur Ernest Tagg was born as the son of Henry and Jessie Tagg. He was married to Beatrice Amy Tagg. Tagg als served during World War oOne. For his service in WW1 he received the Military Medal (August 10th, 1916) as Gunner with Royal Artillery.

He was killed on December 25th, 1941 as Sapper with the Royal Engineers.
