Biography

"During the mass round ups of polish society in the Kresy region by Stalins NKVD on 10 February 1940 my father and his family were herded into cattle wagons and sent to the Gulags in Siberia and to the vast steppes of Kazakhstan. When amnesty was granted to the Polish people my father Pawel; Dominiak, grandfather Walenty and uncle Slawomir made the journey to join Anders Army. Slawomir became a sailor/marynarka on the ORP Dragon. He was killed after a explosion which occurred when the cruiser was torpedoed by a "Neger" Manned submarine in the English channel."
