    Biography

    Dirk Voskamp was a representative with the Uitgeverij Misset (publisher) in Doetinchem. He tried to hold back the nazification of the company as long as possible. He was father to Dirk Voskamp Jr..

    Together with Fulps Vincentius Valstar he was on August 29th, 1944 arrested by the SD in reference to the Silbertanne-Aktion as reprisal of the murder on a NSB member. Against all rules they were transported to the SD-Zentrale in Rotterdam and murdered in the night of August 31st, 1944. THeir bodies were later discovered at the Veenweg in Terbregge.
