    Biography

    Irving Sanitsky, an American air gunner, enlisted on October 1st, 1941 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada in the Royal Canadian Air Force.
    On February 25th, 1943 Halifax DT800 encountered severe weather, crashed and caught fire at Badliss Hall Farm near Ardleigh, 4 miles NE of Colchester, Essex. Sanitsky - and his six other crew members - was killed when the bomber crashed
    Sanitsky was credited with the destruction of five German aircraft.
