    Biography

    Johannes Marinus Duinker lived in Den Burg (municipality of Texel) at Parkstraat 5. He was born on August 16th, 1904, the son of Willem Jan Duinker and Johanna Maria Dee. He was married to Emma Keijser (born September 23rd, 1907, Texel) and worked as a bookseller/printer. Duinker was arrested in Den Burg and subsequently executed at De Mok in reprisal for his collaboration with the rebellious Georgian prisoners of war. His remains were not discovered in the dunes until May 22nd, 1945.
