Gerrit Barlage lived in Amsterdam at the 2e Kostverlorenkade 138-III. He was the son to Bernardus Barlage (17 August 1878, Ferwerderadeel) and Jannetje Brouwers (1 February 1885, Amsterdam). His profession was Coock. On the second day of the so called February strike 1941 at approximately 16.00 hours he was killed at the Bilderdijkstraat by a stray bullit. Most likely he was actually targeted. Also Abraham Hessels (29 March 1896, Haarlem) was killed at the same location and time.
