She has distinguished herself in hostile actions by courageous and tactful conduct and in so doing serving the interests of the Kingdom as courier of an importance resistance group in the Gooi region where the secret commandpost of this group was located in her father’s house. She traveled with important messages of a military nature and with Allied airmen who had to be kept out of the hands of the occupyers and all this under dangerous circumstances. After a raid on a house in which a secret transmitter was operating, she succeeded, together with a colleague in removing incriminating material from a shelter near the house. She was present at various droppings and assisted with the transportation of weapons and the distribution of them among resistance groups.
