Biography

Maurice Charles Lock was born in 1915 as son to Arthur and Eloise Lock. His father served in the Essex Regiment and was killed in action on September 19th, 1918, during the First World War. Maurice Charles married to Una Jessmee Quayle in 1942.

He served with the Devon Constabulary (policeforce in Devon). His last post before entering the army was in Dartmouth in the Southern part of Devon. Dartmouth was part of the ''G'' Division of the police force. He there held the rank of ''Police Constable''.
