Biography

Killed in action. Two Marylands attacked aircraft on the airfield at Ivato (Tananarive). One of the aircraft, flown by Lt Neil Ross, was hit by ground fire and sadly the navigator; Lt P Kleyn, was killed. As there was no army chaplain available, Col Melville read the burial service at the funeral. From Majunga.
