"As A.A. & QMG. this officer took an active part in all the Battles & successes of the Division from Caen to Breda, due to his energy & initiative, personal courage & gallantry at critical moments.
The Division was able to achieve its operational aims & it was very largely due to Major Marowski that the unit never lacked anything.
In particular he was outstanding personally during the pursuit from the Seine to Holland, for the last six months he has been working in a Lieutenant Colonel's capacity & 1 strongly recommend he be awarded the O.B.E. & ask especially for this Decoration".
