Biography

Edith Smith-Daybell served in the SAWAS(South African Women's Auxiliary Services), who raised money for those fighting in North Africa, and also providing home visits for soldiers on the troopships berthing at South African ports. She became Adjutant of the Sea Point (Cape Town) Unit.
