Recommendation:
For having distinguished himself by courageous and tactful conduct in combat against the enemy and thereby having served the interests of the Kingdom in the last months of 1944. when he succesfully managed to establish radio communication with liberated territory (Eindhoven). Together with a colleague he has assembled a transmitter with the parts availble and early December he finally established contact after having been forced to relocate his equipment frequently. After three weeks his cover was blown and he and his equipment were forced to go into hiding; in the meantime many messages, important to the conduct of the war, had been passed on.
