Biography
1923: Joins the French Foreign Legion in the 1st Régiment Étranger
1923-1928 : combat in Algeria, Morocco and Lebanon
1939 : mobilised in the 203rd Régiment d'Infanterie Alpine,
16th June 1940 : promoted caporal
July 1940 : demobilised
September 1941 : join as a caporal the LVF - Légion des Volontaires Français contre le bolchevisme.
October 1941 : sent on the Eastern Front
1942: promoted sergent
1944: Joins the SS division Charlemagne,
