Friedrich Fritsch served as Intendant Militär-Befehlshaber Belgien und Nordfrankreich and with Oberkommando Heeresgruppe B. He was POW from May 1945 until 1947.
Friedrich Fritsch was buried at the Ostfriedhof in Halle. In 1979 his grave was cleared and his remains werd placed in a combined grave.
