Clement was the son of Clement James Stringer and Ethel May Stringer, of Willenhall, Staffordshire, England.
Clement was killed in action on Friday May 14 1943 age 21 due to a crash.

He served with the 51 Sqdn. Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve
