Biography

Wilbert was born on August 25 1913 in Calgary as the son of William and Ethel Webb-Parr from Calgary. He was married in Calgary on November 15 1941 with Alma Edwina Webb from Calgary who remarried after the war in the USA with Mr. Williamson.
His brothers were: Flight Sgt Richard (Dick) L. Webb, Roy Webb and John Arthur Webb and his sisters were: Mrs. E.S.W. Whistlecroft and Mrs. S.H. Luxford.
His profession was a truck driver and he was member of the Baptist Church. His hobbies were: hockey, baseball and rugby.
He enlisted on February 12 1941 in Calgary.
Wilbert was killed in action due to a crash on Monday August 10 1942 age 28 and he was thereafter buried at the general cemetery in Wierden.
He served with the 150 (RAF) squadron Royal Canadian Airforce.
