“At the beginning of the Invasion Johannsen took over command of a Schnellbootflottille and has led it against the enemy landing fleet and its extremely strong security forces every night since the 08.06.1944. His ships have sunk a cruiser, two destroyers and a medium sized freighter. They also scored two hits on a hostile task force and furthermore damaged a large 10000 GRT special ship.”
