"On 23 Nov 41 during the enemy attack on the South African Brigade Trooper Saint took his Scout Car into the middle of the tank versus tank battle and personally collected sixteen men from disabled tanks under very intense fire. He succeeded in leading these men through the enemy lines and in rejoining hi Unit early the following morning. His courage and devtion to duty in all actionsfrom 19 to 29 Nov have been an example to all ranks."
