"From 9 April to 23 April 1945, during the attacks along rivers SENIO, SANTERNO and IDICE, Lieut. JAXA-DEBICKI acted as ** with 7 British Armoured Brigade and took part in that Brigade's operations. He showed outstanding initiative and great personal courage. Thanks to his outstanding efficiency, courage and devotion to duty, very close cooperation between British and Polish infantry was achieved, and this contributed considerably towards the success of the operations during which the enemy suffered heavy casualties. The Commander of 7 Armoured Brigade has spoken very highly of the officer's conduct and devotion to duty."
