"Joined the Brigade on first formation in July 1940 and has remained continuously with it since then. He has risen to the rank of Warrant Officer Class 2 in the R.A.S.C. Company and carries out the duties of Q.M.S. with efficiency and thoroughness, this Warrant Officer's contacts with British personnel have always been most cordial. He is reported on as having served the Brigade most loyally since its formation, took part in the Arnhem Operation with the seaborne Tail."
