He has worked with untiring energy and it has been due to his efforts that the recovery of tanks of the 2nd Polish Armed Brigade from the battlefield and their speedy repair has been carried out so successfully. He has not hesitated to go forward personally to direct the recovery of tanks under fire and his courage on these occasions has been an inspiration to his men."
