Adolf Andorfer served as Gefreiter with the 15. Kompanie, Fallschirmjäger-Regiment 17 within the German 6. Fallschirmjäger-Division, when he was killed in an ammunitions explosion in Bennekom on November 23rd, 1944.
When entering service he was first stationed with 15. Flieger-Pionier-Kommando II, Luftgau-Kommando XVII, Markersdorf (Austria).
