Herman Johannes Beekers went into POW imprisonment at Roermond on May 15th, 1942 and was transferred to Oflag XIII B Neurenberg-Langwasser (KGF-Nummer 31716) which he entered on May 17th, On August 8th, 1942 he was transferred to Stalag 371 Stanislau and on January 17th, 1944 to Oflag 67 Neubrandenburg. On distance he married W.P.M. Bach on July 15th, 1943. On May 29th, 1945 he returned to the Netherlands in Weert.
