Biography

Charles George Points was the son to Charles and Jessica Points from Bromley inKent. He served as Waraant Officer with No. 263 Squadron. He was transferred together with Pilot Officer David Edward Morgan from No. 266 Squadron on January 4th, 1945. No. 263 Squadron was at that moment staioned at airfield B89 near Mill, the Netherlands. On February 14th, 1945 he was in his Hawker Typhoon IB, PD467 during a sortie over Germany hit by Flak near Metten, Germany. He tried to fly his plane back to his nase at Mill but crashed near Oirlo (near Venray), the Netherlands. Charles George Points was found dead near his plane.
