Battle of Picacho Pass Monument

On 15 April 1862, 13 soldiers of US Captain William P. Calloway's Federal Cavalry encountered a group of 10 Confederatel troopers. Three Confaderate soldiers would be captured and after that the Union soldiers had to retreat.
This was only a small skirmish, but is would be the most western fight of the American Civil War.
